I know this is not probably a picture that lots of people would find beautifull, or even nice. Let's face it: it's an old unused kitchen in my grandmother's house. With an opened pumpkin. With an old dirty window. With a few plastic bowls. With not-so-aligned tiles. With an opened pum..oh, wait...I said this already.
The point is: I like this. If you don't...say why, please
I found myself looking at this picture and remembering my father-in-law's house. The house was really really old and it has a kitchen exactly like the one on your picture, I believe most of the times there was also a pumpkin, ready to be transformed in a delicious soup, i can almost feel the scent around The Sepia tone was very well chosen, it gives the real perception of the atmosphere lived in it. I'm also from Portugal and the pattern of the tiles and the lack of alignment make this picture even more perfect. What more can I say? I really like It.
I also really like. There's definitely a mood that's created with the lighting, and the use of sepia tone. And I personally think, the asymmetry of the tiling adds to the fell of the photo. You also did a nice job aligning the tiles, and almost the window (the two aren't perfectly aligned with each other), to the frame. Nicely done. Who cares if it's an old kitchen? I like it too.

well, you can't ask for perfect alignment in that house..it's a little to old and rudimentary for that.
and thank you for the comment. it's nice to see someone having time to go to the trouble of writing more than 3 words.
again: thank you
