JournalHello! It's been a Long time since I wrote something here. There's a reason behind that. Hell, there are tons of reasons behind that. None of them good. Even the fact that I'm writing this and the fact that I resumed posting photos, doesn't mean I'm "better"...it just means I'm trying to get a hold on myself before...
Well, into some other business. Recently I saw the American Gangster. I liked the movie at that time. then, after a while I started trying to understand why. After all, the storyline wasn't so original or complex. Then it hit me. It wasn't the movie that left me stunned. It was the scenery. The reconstruction of the 70s's New York. I remembered watching the movie and having the urge to be there (in the company of a camera). This episode made me think about lots of things. One of them was: why a decrepit society and a place that hardly anyone can find beauty. I even remembered a "pole" andymumford had a while ago about the places people wanted to visit/photograph before they ran out of time. Well, maybe I'll tell (anyone who is reading this) the places I would like to visit: Prypiat (Chernobyl), New York, Antarctic, Tierra del Fuego, Sahara, Alaska, Tibet, Japan, Scotland (the highlands), abandoned Soviet army facilities (weird, no?), Auschwitz/Birkenau II and a few more...
Conclusion: I'm just weird
P.S.: this CSS is not mine..the author is 33xit..i just made minor modifications

Unusual and interesting views are what this deviant have to offer. And that's a lot in this case. Architecture and landscapes are the most prominent theme of his images. High contrast and the occasional color modification go just well in this style, along with the composition that favors the diagonal of the image has a privileged place for the horizon.
